Passports for Russian born children age of 14 to 18 adopted by the US parents.
Passports for minor Russian children adopted by US citizens/residents and permanently residing in the US are issued on the basis of their parents' application.
To apply for a new Russian passport please carefully follow the steps below.
- Our customer service consultants will prepare all necessary consulate application forms once you complete and return the Application Order Form
- Application for Russian Passport must be filled out by one of the parents and must include complete information about the parent.
- Send or fax the completed application form to us.
- We will complete the official Passport application and return it to you for your signature.
- Return the signed Passport Application to us.
- Provide a notarized power of attorney allowing our agent to file the application. We will send an example of the letter.
- In addition, you will need to obtain and send us the following documents:
- Two passport size photographs of the applying parent
- Four passport sized photographs of the child
- An original of the child's Russian birth certificate, obtained after adoption or a copy notarized by a Russian notary
- An original of the child's previous passport
- Copies of the parent's USA passport
- Copy of the child's USA passport
- Copy of the adoption certificate
Note: according to official requirements the passport application form must be submitted in the Russian language. Our consultants will prepare all consulate forms in Russian and in accordance with the strict requirements of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
